Candidates for The Homer and Diane Blackwell President’s Leadership Award have excelled as student leaders with a distinguished record of extraordinary leadership, service, spirit, advocacy, and involvement within the University community.
Proudly named for Homer and Diane Blackwell, this prestigious award celebrates a history of positive and significant accomplishments resulting in major contributions that enhance the quality of life at the University.
Eligibility Criteria
- Be a current CSU Pueblo student enrolled in 6 or more credit hours
- Have junior class rank or higher
- Hold a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher
Commencement Recognition
The recipient of The Homer & Diane Blackwell Leadership Award will receive his/her diploma at the commencement ceremony, directly following the recipient of Threlkeld Prize for Excellence, another prestigious University Award
